Terms of Service

The terms that govern our website and services

Last updated: 11 September 2026

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the PLG Services website or booking any of our Services. These Terms set out the rights and responsibilities of both you and PLG Services.

These Terms are provided as a general statement of the terms on which we offer our Services and website. They are not a substitute for specific legal advice. Where a particular Booking is confirmed in writing, the terms of that confirmation apply to the extent of any inconsistency with these Terms.

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PLG Services website located at this domain (the "Website"), and the property care, lawn and garden, and cleaning services we provide (the "Services").

By accessing the Website, requesting a quote, or booking or receiving any Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or our Services. These Terms form a binding agreement between you ("you", "your") and PLG Services ("we", "us", "our", "the Business").

2. Definitions

In these Terms, unless the context otherwise requires:

  • "Services" means the property care, lawn and garden maintenance, and cleaning services we offer, including bond cleans, end-of-lease cleaning, carpet cleaning and deep cleans.
  • "Quote" means an estimate of the likely cost of Services, provided in writing or verbally before a booking is confirmed.
  • "Booking" means a confirmed arrangement for us to perform Services at a specified time and place.
  • "Client" means the person or entity who requests, books or receives the Services, and anyone acting on their behalf (such as a property manager or agent).
  • "Premises" means the property at which the Services are to be performed.

3. Quotes, Pricing and Payment

Quotes are estimates based on the information you provide and our assessment of the Premises. A Quote is not a fixed-price contract unless we expressly confirm it in writing as a fixed quote. The final price may vary where the scope of work, condition of the Premises, or time required differs from what was reasonably anticipated.

For bond and end-of-lease cleans, our Quote is based on the property being reasonably tidy and free of excessive rubbish, pet waste or damage. Additional cleaning, rubbish removal, or rectification of damage may incur additional charges, which we will discuss with you before proceeding where practicable.

Payment terms (including deposits, due dates and accepted methods) will be set out in your Quote, invoice or booking confirmation. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due in full on completion of the Services. We may charge a reasonable fee for late payment and may recover recovery costs where permitted by law.

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and, where applicable, include GST. We may change our standard pricing at any time, but any confirmed Booking will be charged at the rate agreed at the time of confirmation.

4. Bookings, Cancellations and Rescheduling

A Booking is confirmed once we have accepted your request and, where required, a deposit has been paid. We will use reasonable endeavours to attend at the agreed time, but unforeseen circumstances (such as severe weather, emergencies, or supplier issues) may cause delays or require rescheduling.

If you need to reschedule or cancel a Booking, please notify us as early as possible. Cancellations or rescheduling made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or where we are unable to access the Premises at the agreed time, may incur a fee to cover our allocated time and travel costs. Where a deposit has been paid, it may be non-refundable for late cancellations.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a Booking on reasonable notice, and where a deposit has been paid we will apply it to a rescheduled Booking or refund it in full.

5. Access and Client Cooperation

You are responsible for ensuring we have safe and timely access to the Premises at the agreed time, including providing keys, access codes, or arranging entry through a property manager or agent. You must inform us in advance of any hazards, pets, security requirements, or access restrictions at the Premises.

You must ensure the Premises are safe for us to work in, and that any specific instructions (such as areas not to be serviced, or items requiring special care) are provided before work commences. We are not liable for delays or inability to perform Services caused by access issues or inadequate instructions.

6. Care of Your Property

We take care when performing the Services and use appropriate equipment, products and techniques. However, some items and surfaces (including delicate fabrics, aged carpets, untreated timber, and certain stone or finishes) may be sensitive to cleaning. Where you have particular concerns, please advise us before work begins.

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear, defects, or conditions that become apparent during cleaning or maintenance. We will notify you of any damage or issues we observe where practicable.

7. Bond and End-of-Lease Cleans

Our bond and end-of-lease cleaning services are performed to a high standard to assist with the return of your rental bond. However, the return of a bond is determined by your property manager, landlord or the Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA) in Queensland, and we cannot guarantee the outcome of any bond inspection or the full return of your bond.

Where a property manager or landlord identifies specific issues following our clean, we will, at our discretion and subject to the terms of your Booking, return to address genuine deficiencies attributable to our work within a reasonable period. This does not extend to issues caused by damage, pre-existing conditions, or matters outside the agreed scope of work.

8. Consumer Guarantees and Warranties

Our Services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) and the Queensland Fair Trading Act 1989, including that our Services will be rendered with due care and skill.

Where a failure of our Services is minor and does not amount to a major failure, our responsibility is, at our option, to re-perform or remedy the affected Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law that cannot be lawfully excluded.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the Services or your use of the Website is limited, at our option, to:

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special or punitive loss or damage, or for any loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity, or loss of or damage to data, arising out of or in connection with the Services or the Website.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

  • In the case of Services, the cost of re-supplying the Services, or the cost of having the Services supplied again; and
  • In the case of goods supplied as part of the Services, the cost of replacing the goods, or the cost of acquiring equivalent goods.

10. Use of the Website

You may use the Website for lawful purposes only and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict the use of the Website by, others. You must not use the Website in any way that could damage, disable, overload, or impair it, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website, its systems, or data.

You must not use the Website to transmit any material that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, offensive, infringing, or harmful, or to submit any quote request or enquiry that is false, misleading, or made in bad faith.

11. Intellectual Property and Online Content

All content on the Website — including text, logos, images, graphics, layouts, service descriptions, and design elements — is owned by or licensed to PLG Services and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws, including the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).

You may view and print content from the Website for your personal, non-commercial use. You must not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, transmit, or otherwise exploit any content from the Website without our prior written permission, except as permitted by law.

The PLG Services name and logo are trade marks of the Business. You must not use them without our prior written permission.

Any quote request, feedback, or material you submit to us through the Website remains your property, but by submitting it you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and communicate that material for the purpose of responding to your enquiry and providing the Services.

12. User Submissions and Accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when requesting a quote or booking a service, including contact details, property address, and the nature and condition of the Premises. Inaccurate or incomplete information may affect the accuracy of any Quote and our ability to perform the Services.

We may rely on the information you provide and are not liable for any consequences arising from inaccurate, misleading or incomplete information supplied by you or your representative.

14. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you indemnify PLG Services and its officers, employees and contractors against any loss, damage, claim, liability or expense (including legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Website, or any inaccurate, misleading or unlawful information you submit to us.

15. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms where that failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, fire, flood, pandemic, labour disputes, supplier failures, or government action. Where such circumstances arise, we will take reasonable steps to resume performance as soon as practicable.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and any courts competent to hear appeals from those courts.

Before commencing legal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute through negotiation. If the dispute is not resolved within a reasonable time, either party may refer the matter to mediation, or to the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) or another appropriate dispute resolution body where the matter falls within its jurisdiction.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on the Website with the "last updated" date shown above. Your continued use of the Website or Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision will be read down to the extent necessary to be valid and enforceable, or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
